How hard is it to write a book? Honestly, the difficulty of writing a book depends. The reason you’re writing is important. It also depends on what you’re writing about, who the book is for and the goals you with publishing.
The truth is, there is no right or wrong way to write a book. You can have twenty chapters and each of them contains less than ten words. It all depends on what you’d like to see in the world. The most important factor of writing a book is to create something that you personally believe in. Don’t publish something you’re not proud of.
Writing a Book for the First Time
I’m currently working on my 3rd book. Controlled Creative Chaos will be my best yet. But this is only because I’ve already published two books that were terrible. In writing a book for the first time, you’ll make several mistakes. Your book probably won’t be great. Don’t expect perfection and don’t wait around for it. Get that first book out as soon as possible so that you can get to the greatness within you.
My first book was Major 3: Grow to Your Goals. I decided to tell my early life story and all it’s craziness. I was only 25 at the time but I still felt like it was time. I talked about being a high school dropout and being a homeless college student. I forced myself to publish this first book because I knew I would learn a lot in the process. One thing I was great at early, was outlining.
How to Outline a Book
Outlining a book is the easiest and most important part of writing. It doesn’t matter if you’re writing fiction stories or explaining rocket science, you need an outline for a book to be great.
Take your time when outlining. It’s a process that I had to repeat five times before actually writing Controlled Creative Chaos. The better your outline, the better your story. You’ll also find that it’s easier to get past any blocks when you have the full story or steps lined out.
What’s Different About Controlled Creative Chaos
This time, I’m writing my way and not anyone else’s. I had to stop listening to the outside world and focus on what my creative energy was/is telling me to write.
I’m also marketing this book a lot different. Controlled Creative Chaos will be promoted at a higher level than anything I’ve ever produced. Yes, I’m excited about that.
So yes, it can be difficult to write a book. Just stay focused on how you can tell your story the way you want and get it in front of the right people. You can learn more about Controlled Creative Chaos now.
